Ambiance is straight up diner no frills bronx style. I ordered the triple decker tuna with lettuce tomato sliced hard boiled eggs in between. It comes with fries but attempting to faint heartedly cut out some fatty foods in my life. So I ordered the steamed vegetables , which consisted of big chucks of sliced carrots a few pieces of broccoli and lastly, the white step-child of Broccoli.... Cauliflower. The veggies tasted like they came straight from the can, they were edible, but tasted like no frills army type canned food. I probably should have added some salt. The service was friendly. The guy at the front counter, primarily a Spanish speaking guy but also spoke English took my order at the counter. One thing; the front is for pickups only. There is a sign above your head at this counter that says that. But if you don't look up..who would know! So, what I think they want is, either sit down and order from a server or go to the counter and pick up pre-ordered food. This is so yo don't order from the counter and then find a seat and not give the servers a chance to make their tips. All in all, a decent place for your ordinary diner food.

I just wanted a good cup of coffee that morning and it was perfect. And, pleasant morning service to start the day off right.

On a very chilly Christmas Eve, George's wasn't very full. We were sat right away. Because it was 7' outside, we probably shouldn't have chosen the front glassed in dining area, but we were told it was heated. Nope. It was freezing. Our hit coffee started out steaming and pretty quickly became iced coffee. No matter. We kept our jackets on and enjoyed. All 3 of us tried the 2 egg any style breakfast for $7.25. It comes with toast, fries or home fries, bacon sausage or ham, and a little juice. Lots of food! Really friendly service and if it was a little warmer we would've stayed longer. Best to take an interior table during winter just to be safe. Or order some matzo ball soup with your eggs.

I know that their breakfast special is great but what other awesome things can you expect? -GYROS are HUUUGE portions and AUTHENTIC. -chicken park -hot chocolate -tiramisu -cheesecake -fries -wraps -seafood -lentil soup -sandwiches Things you can probably skip: Spinach pie

Went in for an early breakfast. They had just opened. The gentleman there was very busy setting up. But the food came out quickly. We ordered short stack, Canadian bacon, scrambled eggs with bacon, fruit and toast. Very good

This place is so welcoming, the entire staff is so kind and attentive. I felt like family when I ate here, which was during a very busy time on a Sunday afternoon. I went in expecting to order breakfast, they have an extensive breakfast menu and it all looks delicious. Instead, I was seduced by their more savory lunch and dinner items. I decided on The summer salad and I added chicken to it. It was an amazing salad with greens, blue cheese, apples, dry cranberries, almonds and tomato. The Lipsmacker wrap was super filling and came with such a huge portion of crispy fresh waffle fries that it could easily be split by two people. I also ordered the appetizer size plate of spinach pie. I was stuffed beyond belief and still had food to take home with me P.S the salad tasted really delicious the next day as well. I plan on returning for breakfast as soon as possible and sampling the cheesecake on the dessert menu can't wait to dine in again!

I have been coming to Georgie's for years now. Nothing short of good diner food. Everyone who has ever eaten here knows there portions are generous, though this has changed a bit, they're still great. Food has always been fresh and comes out in a flash! A few of my favorites are their pancakes / Georgie's special for breakfast, Georgie's salad (Greek style) with crispy chicken cutlet, seasoned fries and I love their triple decker! Honestly, you can't go wrong with any item from the menu. No frills. Just good food and good service. However, the prices have increased slightly. I suppose and understand this is to be expected with Covid still lingering around. * w/ Covid their hrs of operation have changed, call up before going. ** Vaccination checks at door

The food here is good and the service was swift. I ordered a pizza burger deluxe and my bf ordered a turkey burger deluxe. The portions were larger than I expected. Overall a good dining experience!
